COVID-19 Safety Policies & Procedures
At Hibernian Private School our goal is to provide a safe & happy environment for our students to learn, our team members to work and to ease the worries and stress of our families.
Due to the very small size of our school, we will be resuming in-person schooling on August 10th with the following safety policies & procedures. We will continue to monitor updates regarding the pandemic locally and nationally and are prepared to return to daily virtual instruction in the event it is necessary for the safety of our students, team and/or families.
Belfor BioProtect
Our facility was treated with BIOPROTECT RTU Technology on Friday, August 7, 2020. BIOPROTECTTM is an EPA-registered, water-based antimicrobial technology that provides persistent and continuous protection FOR UP TO 90 DAYS. BIOPROTECT is a preservative anitmicrobial coating that can be applied to both porous and non-porous surfaces to inhibit the growth of odor causing and stain causing bacteria.
Hibernian Private School COVID-19 Safety Policies & Procedures
Masks will be mandatory during school time. Students will be allowed to remove their masks in classrooms where 6 feet of social distancing is maintained between individuals and all present agree to being comfortable with the decision.
Social Distancing - we will be updating the spacing between seats and tables at the school. We ask that students and staff maintain a safe distance from others.
Daily Arrival
Upon arrival students will be asked a few questions about their health & potential exposure (i.e. Have you or anyone in your household had any of the following symptoms in the last 21 days: sore throat, cough, chills, body aches for unknown reasons, shortness of breath for unknown reasons, loss of smell, loss of taste, fever at or greater than 100 degrees Fahrenheit?)
Student's temperature will be taken using a contactless forehead thermometer.
Students will sanitize their hands.
We ask that any students and team members feeling unwell stay home and continue their coursework remotely until they are feeling better or have received a negative COVID-19 test.
Students are encouraged to socially distance outside of school and to consider their peers and teachers when making choices about evening & weekend activities.
Parents MUST inform administration in the event:
they believe their student has been exposed to COVID-19, or has exhibited any symptoms of illness related to COVID-19.
their student or household member has tested positive for COVID-19.
their student or household member is traveling out of the state.
Hibernian Private School Virtual Program
In the event it is necessary, we will move to daily virtual lesson as conducted in 2019-2020 4th Quarter. Students will be logged into virtual sessions with their teachers from 8:00 am-12:30 pm Monday through Friday for uninterrupted instruction, discussion and classwork.
